My journey into teething accessories began in 2014 with the birth of my first son. He was constantly trying to chew on my necklace and eventually broke it. I thought I couldn’t be the only mum with this problem so I conducted some research to find a safe alternative for my boy to chew on or play with instead of my expensive jewelery.

I discovered 'chewelery' was a big thing in America and Australia. I started out making a teething necklace for myself which received many compliments. Before I knew it, I had a few requests and I realised there was a demand for this product.

Cue my second child. I discovered that he was a tactile baby and would constantly be scratching/pinching my chest, sucking on my clothes, playing with my hair or pulling on my expensive necklace. Out came the 'chewlery' and it was a success.
